A collision led to Alpasinche FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Patricio Ladio hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Saverio Estevon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Aragones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Alpasinche FC booed when Asamblea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ordono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Nazario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Beila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Ordono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Aragones having to interfere. Melquiades Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Aquiles Ursino kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Emanuel Ordono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Aragones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Estevon in the 40th minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Ramiro Chuse managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Geronimo Aragones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Ordono, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Geronimo Aragones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Ordono in the 46th minute of play. When Emanuel Ordono came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Asamblea AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Ordono couldn't finish the play. After the first half Asamblea AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Ordono to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Hector Bittor threw the ball into play from the sideline. Asamblea AFC's Uriel Roldanillo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Uriel Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Aragones having to interfere. Francisco Nazario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Breogan, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Ordono in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geronimo Aragones prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saverio Estevon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Geronimo Aragones made a huge save. In the 68th minute Melquiades Breogan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Milio in the 74th minute of play forced Asamblea AFC's goalkeeper Francisco Nazario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Estevon's late challenge caught a Alpasinche FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Asamblea AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
