Joaquin Sabin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Rigoberto Bibiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genaro Reno got free with Manuel Nabar in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Genaro Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Nabar having to interfere. Cristo Platon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Nabar having to make a save. When Maximino Garci came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Rompiendo espejos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Garci couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Libertad was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Cristo Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Platon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Nabar having to interfere. Manuel Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Platon in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Genaro Reno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Nabar was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. When Genaro Reno, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 80 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Manuel Nabar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Ichipuca got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Herensuge. Maximino Garci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Sabin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Cristo Platon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Nabar having to make a save. After some careless play in the Rompiendo espejos defense, Genaro Reno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Nabar. The Rompiendo espejos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Nabar should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rompiendo espejos's goalkeeper Manuel Nabar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ichipuca booed when Rompiendo espejos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Rolado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nunez Sal struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Manuel Nabar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ichipuca. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ichipuca fully deserved thier win.
