The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, COPETONES's Benigno Montxo got a free kick in the 8th minute. It was a well-played corner which Lucio Lugo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Eriberto Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Rameriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Roman Rameriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Eriberto Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Raymond in the 30th minute of play forced Soldini's goalkeeper Eriberto Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Gaxan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Bordat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to COPETONES getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Lucio Lugo hit a great ball. COPETONES's Mariano Bordat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Osmundo in the 39th minute of play. Mariano Bordat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Osmundo in the 45th minute of play. Anier Osmundo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. The wind increased when Benigno Lawrence made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, COPETONES's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Gaxan came free, but Mariano Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Bordat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Mariano Bordat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Osmundo in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Nicanor Gaxan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Bordat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nicanor Gaxan got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Soldini.
