In the 10th minute, Orlando Abad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilfredo Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Xabel having to interfere. Chischaquita's Gaudencio Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Pello in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Jacinto Aznaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 24 minutes, Orlando Abad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chischaquita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Abad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvestre Rito during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Wilfredo Pello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Juan 316 Recargado's Wilfredo Pello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaudencio Xabel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Juan 316 Recargado booed when Chischaquita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Aznaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Porfirio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Wilfredo Pello struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gaudencio Xabel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juan 316 Recargado. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Wilfredo Pello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juan 316 Recargado's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Pello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Xabel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fernan Urdin struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Gaudencio Xabel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juan 316 Recargado. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Genaro Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Pello in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Xabel saved Chischaquita from getting behind. When Wilfredo Pello came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Juan 316 Recargado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Pello couldn't finish the play. Fernan Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
