An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Santio in the 25th minute of play forced Lehmann AFC's goalkeeper Claudio Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes, Donato Oriche made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lehmann AFC's Claudio Mercurio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Godofredo Monico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Higuera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lehmann AFC the free kick. After 34 played minutes Higuera got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Monico. If Rogelio Iban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godofredo Monico got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Lehmann AFC booed when Higuera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Monico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Gustavo Cristos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prospero Barto skillfully saved the ball. Claudio Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Rivero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd match minute, Higuera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. Higuera's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ignacio Ongile 44 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1.

In the 58th minute, Froilan Santio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Serafino Rivero came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Higuera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Rivero couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Higuera's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Iban came free, but Prospero Barto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Mercurio was a little too slow when Froilan Santio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-2. Froilan Santio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Claudio Mercurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Santio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Mercurio having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Higuera fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! Prospero Barto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Ongile in the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Higuera's zone, Ignacio Ongile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Barto came out of the goal and Ignacio Ongile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Higuera were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
