Dante Precioso struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Celso Txartiko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Henderson FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Blai in the 44th minute of play forced Henderson FC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Rius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Blai in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The Racing CBA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Racing CBA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
