Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Domingo Machado started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Cafayete got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Cordarrel. Apolo Asteri came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Boxitracio Football Club's Filomeno Kepa. But to his dismay, Filomeno Kepa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Lucio Burutzagi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cafayete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Burutzagi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 15 played minutes Boxitracio Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Cayo. Isidro Cordarrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Cafayete's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Cayo came free, but Apolo Asteri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Isidro Cordarrel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cafayete fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A hard shot 30 in the game by Lucio Burutzagi from a close distance when the talented Aurelio Niguel managed to make a qualified save. Boxitracio Football Club's players were relieved. Severino Bikendi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aurelio Niguel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Isidro Cordarrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Lucio Burutzagi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aurelio Niguel made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Isidro Cordarrel sent off a good shot on target. Valentin Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Domingo Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Severino Bikendi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Agustin Kimetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Oliveiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurelio Niguel. Boxitracio Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Domingo Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Apolo Asteri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Burutzagi in the 65th minute of play forced Boxitracio Football Club's goalkeeper Aurelio Niguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Cafayete's Siro Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Niguel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Cruz in the 73rd minute of play forced Boxitracio Football Club's goalkeeper Aurelio Niguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Burutzagi in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Niguel saved Boxitracio Football Club from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Bikendi in the 75th minute of play forced Boxitracio Football Club's goalkeeper Aurelio Niguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute of the match, Domingo Machado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Apolo Asteri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lucio Burutzagi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Aurelio Niguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidro Cordarrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Severino Bikendi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cafayete's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boxitracio Football Club the free kick. Severino Bikendi hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Valentin Cayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Burutzagi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Aurelio Niguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cafayete fully deserved thier win.
