Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 50) Baibiene's Fabio Porfiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabio Porfiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Arturo Beliran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Fabio Porfiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Surisaltana FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aureliano Izotz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Cordareo in the 17th minute of play forced Baibiene's goalkeeper Zacarias Bermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baibiene's Jeremias Berart got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Placido Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Zacarias Bermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Berart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Eduardo Amor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Surisaltana FC's Celso Canor got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, one of Surisaltana FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Surisaltana FC. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Jeremias Berart took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Arturo Beliran to make any attempt to save it. Zacarias Bermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Gudesteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Cordareo to make the kick off. When Gaspar Mero fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Surisaltana FC's protests and gave Gaspar Mero a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Surisaltana FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Mero. In the 56th minute Fabricio Gudesteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Bermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Bermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Cordareo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Baibiene's Leonel Matxin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jonathan Gonchan, made in the 77th minute of the game. After 78 minutes, Leonel Matxin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baibiene and the Surisaltana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Baibiene booed when Surisaltana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position.
