Spectators: 7059 (Terracing: 5296, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ovidio Furtado started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Cabrera F. C. getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Jorge Cordarrell hit a great ball. Delmiro Valerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Goyena AFC's Feliciano Arias in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cabrera F. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Goyena AFC's Orlando Cordarell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Furtado in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Goyena AFC's zone, Ovidio Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Cordarell came out of the goal and Ovidio Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliciano Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktoras Marselis having to interfere. Viktoras Marselis was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Feliciano Arias capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Feliciano Arias really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The attack was good, but when Virgilio Elorri in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Desiderio Goi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Desiderio Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the match, Ovidio Furtado notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Goyena AFC's Orlando Cordarell. Orlando Cordarell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Desiderio Goi struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Orlando Cordarell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabrera F. C..

Ovidio Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goyena AFC's goalkeeper Orlando Cordarell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Cabrera F. C. booed when Goyena AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Vincente kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Marciano Leguizamón kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Goyena AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Furtado came free, but Orlando Cordarell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Goi might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orlando Cordarell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Desiderio Goi ran back to his position shaking his head.
