In the 40thth minute of the game Wilfredo Cordarrol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Giovanni's Emiliano Asteri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tobias Orlanda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute of the match Leandro Sendoa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Asteri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 48th minute Delmar Olayo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 50th minute, Osvaldo Lehen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Ĺa Oselleta were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Cordarrol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Wilfredo Cordarrol managed to get in a good position for a shot.
