After 23 played minutes Viale got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Hug. When Mauricio Hug fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viale's protests and gave Mauricio Hug a yellow card for diving instead. Benigno Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With his leg Benigno Osasun managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Borolas F.C.'s Narciso Lain fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Galindo got free with Benigno Osasun in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute Jimeno Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Fabio Galindo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benigno Osasun. Viale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabio Galindo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
