Wesley Bright took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Matro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Les Schtroumpfs F.B.'s goalkeeper Wesley Bright, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Ismael Mazuste cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ladislao Quexal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Bright having to interfere. With a little luck, Les Schtroumpfs F.B.'s Wesley Bright got control of the ball when David Valiente tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ladislao Quexal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

An unexpectedly hard shot by David Valiente in the 65th minute of play forced Les Schtroumpfs F.B.'s goalkeeper Wesley Bright to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wesley Bright showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin James in the 71st minute of the match.
