Wesley Bright came out of the goal and Moises Mino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wesley Bright made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Ourente in the 13th minute of play. Leopoldo Corderun hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Les Schtroumpfs F.B.'s Wesley Bright proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Les Schtroumpfs F.B. from getting a goal against them. After 19 played minutes Les Schtroumpfs F.B. got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Lertxun. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Enmanuel got free with Wesley Bright in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natalio Quirze took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wesley Bright. Les Schtroumpfs F.B.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the last second Wesley Bright throw himself and got hold of the ball when Moises Mino in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Les Schtroumpfs F.B.'s Wesley Bright played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Mino in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Les Schtroumpfs F.B. booed when Club Atlético Huracán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Ourente didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

51 minutes into the match, Les Schtroumpfs F.B.'s goal looked a bit too open when Moises Mino came free, but Wesley Bright reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Moises Mino put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wesley Bright. Ismael Mazuste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Atlético Huracán's Saturnino Enmanuel got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67thth minute of the game Moises Mino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les Schtroumpfs F.B.'s Wesley Bright was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamin Eli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Les Schtroumpfs F.B. got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Machado. Club Atlético Huracán made a substitution. Rigoberto Faron replaced Anselmo Tauro. Giovanni Machado hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Les Schtroumpfs F.B.'s zone, Francisco Jerrold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Bright came out of the goal and Francisco Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute Francisco Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Bright saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Huracán's Moises Mino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
