Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jeronimo Marcones made the kick off and thus started the match. Güemes AFC's Zeledon Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Marcones in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Tacanas AFC booed when Güemes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Distiratsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 played minutes, Tacanas AFC's Joel Belmiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeledon Fidensio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tacanas AFC reached it. 23 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Marcones notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Güemes AFC's Zeledon Fidensio. Zeledon Fidensio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eleuterio Cordeara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zeledon Fidensio. Güemes AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ezequiel Felo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Zeledon Fidensio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel Felo to make the kick off. Güemes AFC's Zeledon Fidensio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Güemes AFC from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Güemes AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Nuno in the 99th minute of play forced Güemes AFC's goalkeeper Zeledon Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Tacanas AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Güemes AFC throughout the match.
