Talagapa's Rigoberto Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Macario in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Laureano Macario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Macario in the 24th minute of play forced Talagapa's goalkeeper Rigoberto Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Cilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Firmo in the 27th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Froilan Firmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Cilio. La Oruga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Froilan Firmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 31st minute, Laureano Macario ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Eguen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Froilan Firmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Esteban Hustaz in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Talagapa's Emilio Eudoxio. Alfonso Salvadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Eguen having to interfere. Paulo Inge's late challenge caught a La Oruga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Inge helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Paulo Inge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Tome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Eguen having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Laureano Macario notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Talagapa's Rigoberto Eguen. Rigoberto Eguen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emilio Eudoxio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Talagapa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Oruga FC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Froilan Firmo made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, La Oruga FC's Laureano Macario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Abad in the 61st minute of play forced Talagapa's goalkeeper Rigoberto Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Laureano Macario dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rigoberto Eguen, 1-4. Nestor Ermengol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Eguen made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Claudio Abad took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Rigoberto Eguen to make any attempt to save it. Santos Oliveiro hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The supporters of Talagapa booed when La Oruga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Hustaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Laureano Macario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Eguen was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Nestor Ermengol capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nestor Ermengol really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Talagapa's Rigoberto Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Macario in the 88th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Ermengol got free with Rigoberto Eguen in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
