Honorio Bilintx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ernesto Quintana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Talagapa's goalkeeper Rigoberto Eguen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Benino. After 41 minutes of play, Ballester FC's Ricardo Benino made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rigoberto Eguen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ricardo Benino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Eguen made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rigoberto Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Palban, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute Simon Librado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Ballester FC's Danilo Palban nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Eguen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Ballester FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
