When Abelardo Erlantz came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the El franco fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Erlantz couldn't finish the play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filiberto Gorosti was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Abelardo Erlantz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Abaunza. That made the score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. Zeledon Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Bermund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Abelardo Erlantz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filiberto Gorosti was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. El franco fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, 30 Seconds To Mars's Dante Abaunza got control of the ball when Filiberto Gorosti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filiberto Gorosti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A collision led to 30 Seconds To Mars getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Teo Raymond hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Abelardo Erlantz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The 30 Seconds To Mars fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El franco fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
