Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leonel Arias got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Oroitz during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Durazno FC booed when Alvear AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Oroitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Polentzi in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Leonel Arias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Gaizkine was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Alvear AFC's Isidoro Tino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Alvear AFC from getting a goal against them. After 36 played minutes Durazno FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Ondino. Lucas Loren charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Loren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isaac Eguen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximiliano Ondino kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Alvear AFC's Isaac Eguen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The wind increased when Ruben Heli made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Durazno FC's Rafael Gaizkine got control of the ball when Leonel Arias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvear AFC's Leonel Arias got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Melquiades Rutenio sped through Durazno FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafael Gaizkine. Ruben Heli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Isidoro Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvear AFC's Leonel Arias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafael Gaizkine. That made the score 0-2 after 81 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Durazno FC's Saul Rainerio got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, Alvear AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Isidor to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Arias did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Rafael Gaizkine 88 minutes into the match. When the match was over Alvear AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Durazno FC throughout the match.
