Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rigoberto Paskal started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rigoberto Paskal sped through Estación Quequén's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvestre Hermelando. Zacarias Justin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Silvestre Hermelando made a huge save. In the 11th match minute, Estación Quequén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Sendoa to maneuver through the defense. Javier Bibiano hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Javier Bibiano's late challenge caught a Santa Elena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Bibiano helped the player get up and apologised. Javier Bibiano kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Silvestre Hermelando made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Zacarias Justin sent off a good shot on target. Rigoberto Paskal did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Silvestre Hermelando 23 minutes into the match. Zacarias Justin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Silvestre Hermelando made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Estación Quequén's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Paskal came free, but Silvestre Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Hermelando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Paskal, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Zacarias Justin came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Santa Elena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Justin couldn't finish the play. Silvestre Hermelando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Paskal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarias Justin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 57 minutes, Rigoberto Paskal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Elena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Paskal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 minutes Estación Quequén's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anibal Raitin who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Estación Quequén's goalie and right to Roel Roelfs. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Estación Quequén's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Sendoa during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Marcial Sendoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Hermelando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Justin in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Anibal Raitin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvestre Hermelando skillfully saved the ball. Silvestre Hermelando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Paskal, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Javier Bibiano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After 82 played minutes Estación Quequén got a freekick which was hit by Javier Bibiano. Silvestre Hermelando came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Elena's Zacarias Justin. But to his dismay, Zacarias Justin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Rigoberto Paskal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Elena's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Paskal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Hermelando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Armando Honrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santa Elena walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
