In the 16th minute Mauricio Hanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Arnau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Arnau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Hanni in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Eloy Iaki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Franco-Canadiense's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Iaki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Arnau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eloy Iaki took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Arnau. Aquilino Arnau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Iaki went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in MAXX SW F.C.'s zone, Eloy Iaki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Arnau came out of the goal and Eloy Iaki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MAXX SW F.C.'s Aquilino Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Hanni in the 38th minute of play. Arturo Abad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Çağdaş Bilgin fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAXX SW F.C.'s protests and gave Çağdaş Bilgin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Çağdaş Bilgin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquilino Arnau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Sengrat in the 43rd minute of the match.
