Spectators: 7101 (Terracing: 5327, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 141) Corralito C.A.'s Virgilio Kemen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Lugones AFC's Rafik El Hadi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prudencio Salamon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Guaberto Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rafik El Hadi fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lugones AFC's protests and gave Rafik El Hadi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Lugones AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rafik El Hadi hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Lugones AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Kemen came free, but Ciro Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes Lugones AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Godofredo Frutos who took care of the corner kick. Guaberto Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgilio Kemen during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lugones AFC booed when Corralito C.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Kemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prudencio Salamon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafik El Hadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Virgilio Kemen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Cutberto having to make a save. Gerardo Ixidor hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Ciro Cutberto came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Corralito C.A.'s Godofredo Frutos. But to his dismay, Godofredo Frutos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Mauricio Hitz fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corralito C.A.'s protests and gave Mauricio Hitz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Corralito C.A. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mauricio Hitz hit a great ball. Ruperto Bizis short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Prudencio Salamon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Prudencio Salamon managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Lugones AFC's Ruperto Bizi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Bizi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prudencio Salamon was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruperto Bizi to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Corralito C.A. defense, Ruperto Bizi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prudencio Salamon. The Corralito C.A. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prudencio Salamon should have stopped the shot. Virgilio Kemen struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ciro Cutberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corralito C.A.. After 73 played minutes Lugones AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Ixidor. Guaberto Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaberto Emesto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ciro Cutberto made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Ixidor during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Lugones AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Ixidor. In the 79th minute of the match Godofredo Frutos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciro Cutberto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Ruperto Bizi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prudencio Salamon. Corralito C.A.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruperto Bizi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Rafik El Hadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruperto Bizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Salamon having to interfere. In the 90th minute Virgilio Kemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Lugones AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
