The coaching staff of Chacabuco FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Enrique Baleren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 13 minutes into the game, one of Chacabuco FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Benito Bras shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After a defensive mix-up in Chacabuco FC's zone, Joaquin Demesio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Calixto came out of the goal and Joaquin Demesio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Bras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Genaro Calixto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Casomiro got free with Genaro Calixto in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Demesio charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Demesio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Chaleco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Demesio to maneuver through the defense. Benito Bras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Calixto having to make a save. Benito Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Bras did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Genaro Calixto 36 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Benito Bras got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Chacabuco FC's zone, Victorio Tab stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Calixto came out of the goal and Victorio Tab tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Calixto was a little too slow when Benito Bras got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Arano was the one to do the kick off. Benito Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 minutes of play, Chaleco's Joaquin Demesio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genaro Calixto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Chacabuco FC booed when Chaleco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Casomiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Benito Bras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Benito Bras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Chaleco's Benito Bras in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chacabuco FC's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Bras took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Calixto. Genaro Calixto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Genaro Calixto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Bras, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Benito Bras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Calixto was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After 81 minutes, Patricio Ignatius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacabuco FC and the Chaleco players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chaleco booed when Chacabuco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Ignatius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chacabuco FC's Genaro Calixto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Bras in the 82nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Benito Bras sped through Chacabuco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Genaro Calixto. Sixto Lohitzun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Ospetsu having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Chacabuco FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Arano. When Chaleco's Benito Bras in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chacabuco FC's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that Chaleco were the better team. Chaleco's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
