Placido Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Martxot having to interfere. juventus's Cornelio Elija got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrick Keidel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, juventus's Amador Sotero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casimiro Abastas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Blas Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cornelio Elija to strike the kick off in the second half. Casimiro Abastas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for juventus. juventus's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
