A collision led to OLIMPO getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Flavius Răuțu hit a great ball. Edgardo Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, OLIMPO's goal looked a bit too open when Patricius Straumann came free, but Julio Patrido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Chasicó AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of OLIMPO:s goal. 28 minutes into the match, Chasicó AFC's Patricius Straumann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Patrido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chasicó AFC's Rogelio Joachim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Chasicó AFC from getting a goal against them. Julio Patrido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricius Straumann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OLIMPO's Julio Patrido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricius Straumann in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Kiliz in the 41st minute of play forced OLIMPO's goalkeeper Julio Patrido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Patricius Straumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Patrido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Reyes got free with Rogelio Joachim in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute Patricius Straumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Patrido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualter de Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Patrido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricius Straumann in the 53rd minute of the match. If Edgardo Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes of play, OLIMPO's Edgardo Reyes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogelio Joachim was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ezequiel Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rosendo Kiliz fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chasicó AFC's protests and gave Rosendo Kiliz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Gualter de Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Joachim was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Rogelio Joachim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Reyes in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, OLIMPO's Gualter de Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogelio Joachim narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
