After a rather tough play, Charly Dato FC's Alberto Cordaro got a free kick in the 9th minute. Flavio Frisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Barros Schelotto having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Abel Bieito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Barros Schelotto was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Flavio Frisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Bieito to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Frisco in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Barros Schelotto saved Charly Dato FC from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, Hector Demario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ivan Egoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abel Bieito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Guillermo Barros Schelotto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Egoi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alberto Cordaro. Flavio Frisco scored 3-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillermo Barros Schelotto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guillermo Barros Schelotto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Bieito, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Hector Demario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Bieito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Salbatore helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Charly Dato FC booed when Pizza y Birra 2017 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Salbatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pizza y Birra 2017's Ivan Egoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Pizza y Birra 2017 from getting a goal against them. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pizza y Birra 2017 fully deserved thier win.
