The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Sabin in the 62nd minute of play forced Diamante FC's goalkeeper Julian Ricart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Mourits Belmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Angel Sabin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Diamante FC's zone, Mourits Belmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Ricart came out of the goal and Mourits Belmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Diamante FC's Romulo Aurre got a free kick in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Mourits Belmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Ricart was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Eriberto Oxel's late challenge caught a Punco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Oxel helped the player get up and apologised. When Jimmie Albäck fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punco's protests and gave Jimmie Albäck a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Punco getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jimmie Albäck hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Punco's Emiliano Bihar got a free kick in the 85th minute. Emanuel Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Quintin, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Punco's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
