Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arnoldo Quintin kicked off to start the match. Benjamin Cuartio hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Vergara's Aldo Gorbea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Quintin in the 5th minute of play. Paolo Peruxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Julian Ricart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paolo Peruxu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Julian Ricart when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Bruno Lia fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diamante FC's protests and gave Bruno Lia a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Diamante FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Paolo Peruxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Ricart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Odon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marciano Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Jorge Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Aurre's late challenge caught a Vergara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Aurre helped the player get up and apologised. Romulo Aurre kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Jorge Odon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 35th minute, Jorge Odon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Julian Ricart, passed just outside the right post. If Jorge Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Jorge Odon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vergara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Odon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julian Ricart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Odon, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Odon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marciano Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Aldo Gorbea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Baldovino hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute of the match Pedro Luken shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julian Ricart showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jorge Odon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Arnoldo Quintin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Marciano Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Gorbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Quintin in the 72nd minute of the match. Paolo Peruxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
