German Osasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Amaya having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Ardiles's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Toro came free, but Isidro Ireno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Matei took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidro Ireno. Isidro Ireno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Carmelo Micael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Ireno having to interfere. Ladislao Amaya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ion Mahonea in the 40th minute. Ardiles's Isidro Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Micael in the 42nd minute of play. Roman Endira hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Celedonio Matei kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carmelo Micael to make the kick off. Ardiles's Isidro Ireno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Ardiles from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Matei in the 59th minute of play forced Ardiles's goalkeeper Isidro Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ion Mahonea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Ion Mahonea made a precise shot to the right of Ladislao Amaya. A lo tuyo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. With a little luck, Ardiles's Isidro Ireno got control of the ball when Primitivo Hever tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isidro Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Micael, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Osasun in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislao Amaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carmelo Micael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
