Elvio Bautista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Cresitobalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th match minute, Rivadavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Chesus to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Elvio Bautista managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Lamponne F.C.'s Maximiliano Tiadoro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 16th match minute, Lamponne F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Quirce to maneuver through the defense. Lamponne F.C.'s Honorato Gora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Lagerberg in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Lamponne F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Aytun Merih hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Gustaf Lagerberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lamponne F.C.'s Honorato Gora. A nice corner shot did that Casimiro Quirce got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Elvio Bautista quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maximiliano Tiadoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Lamponne F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rivadavia were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tor Dahlquist made a kick off. Gustaf Lagerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Honorato Gora made a huge save. Pablo Valerio's late challenge caught a Rivadavia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Valerio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Lamponne F.C. getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Pablo Valerio hit a great ball. Tomas Chesus scored 0-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Gora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Lamponne F.C. booed when Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Lagerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Bautista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Valerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Rivadavia's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Cresitobalo came free, but Elvio Bautista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Gora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tor Dahlquist's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Rivadavia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
