Maximiliano Valentine might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Eztebe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Valentine ran back to his position shaking his head. If Rodolfo Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Berisso's goalkeeper Claudio Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Valentine. 14 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Berisso's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Sasoin came free, but Claudio Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Elias Eskuin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guatimozín AFC's Octavio Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Rozarius in the 23rd minute of play. When Carlos Savion came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Estudiantes de Berisso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Savion couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute of the match Lorenzo Santos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octavio Lopez skillfully saved the ball. Claudio Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Sasoin in the 36th minute of play. Alejo Galoer charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejo Galoer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alejo Galoer kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. During the 41st minute of the match Elias Eskuin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Elias Eskuin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Guatimozín AFC booed when Estudiantes de Berisso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Eskuin didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Savion to make the kick off. Guatimozín AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Ceandro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rodolfo Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Guatimozín AFC booed when Estudiantes de Berisso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Valentine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Claudio Eztebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Americo Ipar fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guatimozín AFC's protests and gave Americo Ipar a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Guatimozín AFC got a freekick which was hit by Americo Ipar. When Guatimozín AFC's Maximiliano Valentine in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estudiantes de Berisso's goalie prevented a goal. In the 77th minute, Maximiliano Valentine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Eztebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Claudio Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Valentine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Sasoin in the 87th minute of the match. Angelo Sasoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Claudio Eztebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Sasoin struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Claudio Eztebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guatimozín AFC. Despite being the better team, Guatimozín AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
