But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Anaya couldn't finish the play. Octavio Lopez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Anaya's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Angelo Sasoin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albino Janpier, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Pavón FC's Luciano Matei got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 28 played minutes Guatimozín AFC got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Austin. A collision led to Pavón FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Silverio Lizer hit a great ball. Elias Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Valentine got free with Albino Janpier in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximiliano Valentine to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Maximiliano Valentine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guatimozín AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Valentine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavón FC's Teodoro Abadie was responsible for 1-1 with a brilliant performance in the 64th minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Octavio Lopez. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Elias Anaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guatimozín AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Pavón FC had controlled the match.
