Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Mateo in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eleuterio Eufrasio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eleuterio Eufrasio came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by boca's Simon Matxin. But to his dismay, Simon Matxin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 22 minutes into the game, boca's Ismael Chinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eleuterio Eufrasio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Matxin in the 25th minute of play forced Akashis team's goalkeeper Eleuterio Eufrasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, boca's Tomás Mateo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eleuterio Eufrasio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 30th minute Ismael Chinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. boca's Leon Castel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elder do Nascimento in the 32nd minute of play. Cleto Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Eufrasio having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Eustaquio Lizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Akashis team defense, Cleto Artizar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eleuterio Eufrasio. The Akashis team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eleuterio Eufrasio should have stopped the shot. Akashis team's Robustiano Louis was substituted for Wilfredo Berasko. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Mateo to make the kick off. If Ismael Chinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Eufrasio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Artizar in the 54th minute. Eleuterio Eufrasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Matxin in the 56th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, boca's Ismael Chinto made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eleuterio Eufrasio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Chinto got free with Eleuterio Eufrasio in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, boca's Simon Matxin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eleuterio Eufrasio. Eleuterio Eufrasio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Cleto Artizar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Eleuterio Eufrasio made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Akashis team's Steinar Skjerven seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Steinar Skjerven the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Akashis team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Steinar Skjerven had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 70 minutes into the game, one of Akashis team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave boca a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomás Mateo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Akashis team's Eleuterio Eufrasio. 0-11. Eleuterio Eufrasio had great luck who in the 76thth minute grab hold of the ball when Tomás Mateo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Tomás Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eleuterio Eufrasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Mateo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes of play, boca's Cleto Artizar made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eleuterio Eufrasio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ismael Chinto scored 0-14 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eleuterio Eufrasio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
