In the 5th minute of the match, Leonardo Fidele tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baldomero Urtungo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Negro Atleta FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Raimundo Frederico hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Negro Atleta FC's Leonardo Fidele ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baldomero Urtungo. Baldomero Urtungo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Placido Medina might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Havier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Medina ran back to his position shaking his head. Prospero Gagriel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Urtungo having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Placido Medina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Havier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some careless play in the Negro Atleta FC defense, Placido Medina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Havier. The Negro Atleta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Havier should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Negro Atleta FC's zone, Placido Medina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Havier came out of the goal and Placido Medina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, Damn is Luchi's Placido Medina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Havier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Prospero Gagriel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Eugenio Havier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Placido Medina's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After the first half Damn is Luchi were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Fidele to strike the kick off in the second half. If Angelino Evarado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Aristides Gilen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Damn is Luchi's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Gilen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Havier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Evarado got free with Eugenio Havier in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonardo Fidele took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomero Urtungo. Baldomero Urtungo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. When Placido Medina came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Damn is Luchi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Medina couldn't finish the play. Angelino Evarado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Havier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Rosendo Timo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Negro Atleta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Damn is Luchi the free kick. A collision led to Negro Atleta FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rosendo Timo hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Placido Medina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Eugenio Havier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Fidele in the 81st minute of play forced Damn is Luchi's goalkeeper Baldomero Urtungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Damn is Luchi booed when Negro Atleta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Prejun didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 85 in the game by Placido Medina from a close distance when the talented Eugenio Havier managed to make a qualified save. Negro Atleta FC's players were relieved. Placido Medina in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eugenio Havier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eugenio Havier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Evarado, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Damn is Luchi's Placido Medina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Negro Atleta FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Havier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Damn is Luchi's Baldomero Urtungo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Prejun in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Prospero Gagriel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Urtungo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
