The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Eufemio got free with Ceferino Gaizko in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucio Tohias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Efren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Santikurtz in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Leonardo Santikurtz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. S.C NAPOLI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucio Tohias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ceferino Gaizko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Sayvion in the 81st minute of play. Ceferino Gaizko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Furtok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Lucio Eufemio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ceferino Gaizko.
