An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Vidal in the 8th minute of play forced Vergarabat F.C's goalkeeper David Endira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacarias Urtats could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but David Endira made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, Eustacio Vidal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Endira, 1-0. Western Province were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Vergarabat F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teo Pueblo took the corner. Hipolito Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Liher in the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Vergarabat F.C defense, Eustacio Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Endira. The Vergarabat F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Endira should have stopped the shot. Aurelio Blanco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hipolito Hulberto having to make a save. Western Province were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vergarabat F.C for a fine match.
