In the 31stth minute of the game Romulo Txordon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neuquén FC's Venancio Oinatz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Benedicto Confesor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pilar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neuquén FC the free kick. The supporters of Neuquén FC booed when Pilar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Confesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anibal Avellaneda in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Maureo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the match, Anibal Avellaneda notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pilar's Gaspar Maureo. Candido Estebe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gaspar Maureo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pilar's Gaspar Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Torres in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romulo Txordon during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Neuquén FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
