Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gerasimos Asimakis got the match started through his kick off. Gaspar Maureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Manex, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Padro hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Francisco Remir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Remir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th match minute, Pilar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Pudes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jimeno Dantae hit a great ball. Gaspar Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Manex in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Cirilo Manex ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Maureo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 41st minute, Francisco Remir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fidel Primo hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Romulo Txordon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emiliano Pancho. The goal made the score 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romulo Txordon to strike the kick off in the second half. Gerasimos Asimakis in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaspar Maureo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gaspar Maureo was a little too slow when Cirilo Manex got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-2. Luciano Padro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pilar's Gaspar Maureo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Pilar from getting a goal against them. After 70 played minutes Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Guipuzkoa. 72 minutes into the match, Pilar's goal looked a bit too open when Gerasimos Asimakis came free, but Gaspar Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romulo Txordon in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Pancho saved River Plate from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Romulo Txordon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Pancho. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romulo Txordon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Pilar's Benedicto Confesor got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Romulo Txordon made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Pancho. River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo Manex got free with Gaspar Maureo in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Pancho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romulo Txordon's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Gerasimos Asimakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaspar Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerasimos Asimakis in the 99th minute of play.
