Elpidio Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Gartxot in the 15th minute of play. Jorge Gartxot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Eliseo Dalmau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Teofilo Quico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Bladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Foxes Futbol Club's Elpidio Santikurtz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Gartxot in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Gartxot in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Santikurtz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Eliseo Dalmau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Iigo's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Dalmau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Santikurtz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, Venancio Jerrold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Iigo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Foxes Futbol Club the free kick. After 33 minutes, Eliseo Dalmau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Iigo and the Foxes Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Club Atletico Iigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Dalmau to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Tancredo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Elpidio Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Gartxot in the 39th minute of play. Elpidio Santikurtz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Gartxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Gartxot to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Gartxot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Foxes Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Gartxot came free, but Elpidio Santikurtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Club Atletico Iigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Henry to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Iigo's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Quico came free, but Ciro Bladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When German Gasteiz fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Foxes Futbol Club's protests and gave German Gasteiz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, German Gasteiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 64 in the game by Jorge Gartxot from a close distance when the talented Elpidio Santikurtz managed to make a qualified save. Foxes Futbol Club's players were relieved. If Jorge Gartxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Venancio Jerrold made a precise shot to the right of Elpidio Santikurtz. Foxes Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Jorge Gartxot came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Club Atletico Iigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Gartxot couldn't finish the play. Elpidio Santikurtz stood somewhat misplaced when Jorge Gartxot came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 79 minute. In the 83rd minute, Foxes Futbol Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jorge Gartxot fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 85th minute Teofilo Quico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Bladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Geronimo Montrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Foxes Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Montrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Jerrold in the 91st minute of play forced Foxes Futbol Club's goalkeeper Elpidio Santikurtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Bladi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Gasteiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Gartxot in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Santikurtz saved Foxes Futbol Club from getting behind.
