Julio Cordera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Corderro in the 11th minute of play. Julio Cordera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Corderro went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Messilandia FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Nunez Loco hit a great ball. When Timoteo Martinez came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Uspallata AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Martinez couldn't finish the play. Julio Cordera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Corderro in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Timoteo Martinez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Samuel Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Uspallata AFC booed when Messilandia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Gaztea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Timoteo Martinez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Cordera was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, Timoteo Martinez notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Messilandia FC's Julio Cordera. Julio Cordera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timoteo Martinez in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Cordera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Samuel Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Samuel Corderro made the kick off in the second half. Timoteo Martinez struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Julio Cordera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uspallata AFC. When Tomas Neron came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Uspallata AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Neron couldn't finish the play. Tomas Nerons short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Julio Cordera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Osvaldo Ricart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Jerano having to interfere. Julio Cordera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Corderro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uspallata AFC's Timoteo Martinez got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Corderro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Cordera having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Uspallata AFC's Samuel Corderro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. If Timoteo Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Samuel Corderro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Cordera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Julio Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uspallata AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pascual Franco in the 90th minute. With a little luck, Messilandia FC's Julio Cordera got control of the ball when Timoteo Martinez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samuel Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Messilandia FC's zone, Timoteo Martinez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Cordera came out of the goal and Timoteo Martinez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
