Lonquimay Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Animal´s F.C. the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Montxo in the 8th minute of play forced Lonquimay Club's goalkeeper Inocencio Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Justo Jerrald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Inocencio Rojelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute, Lonquimay Club's Raimundo Menendo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After 20 played minutes Animal´s F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Donostia. The nice shot from Raimundo Menendo in the 22ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Joaquin Laurgain had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Aaron Odon kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Braulio Montxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Animal´s F.C.'s goalkeeper Joaquin Laurgain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Menendo. The supporters of Lonquimay Club booed when Animal´s F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Phelipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Laurgain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Vistruario in the 41st minute. Braulio Montxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Inocencio Rojelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braulio Montxo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Justo Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th match minute, Animal´s F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Medina to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Animal´s F.C.'s Justo Jerrald got a free kick in the 56th minute. The supporters of Lonquimay Club booed when Animal´s F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Montxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Animal´s F.C.'s Joaquin Laurgain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Rey in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the game Ladislao Mendez made a throw-in which Silverio Medina played forward. 62 minutes into the match, Animal´s F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Menendo came free, but Joaquin Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Silverio Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Modestio scored 2-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Laurgain, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inocencio Rojelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Montxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, Lonquimay Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Betonowy to maneuver through the defense. The audience cheered loudly when Higinio Berenguer's long shot in the 86th minute became 2-2 when the ball went to the left of and passed Inocencio Rojelio. Lonquimay Club were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Animal´s F.C. to leave the ground with a draw.
