Oeste FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loco Palermo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oeste FC's Hernan Fertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Palben in the 31st minute of play. Edgardo Palben scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernan Fertus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes in the game Medin Campero did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Loco Palermo. Loco Palermo came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Natalio Bartuelo could save by the left post. 44 minutes into the match, Oeste FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Palben came free, but Hernan Fertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
