Paulo Bastian came out of the goal and Betinho Palmeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Juan Estebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Valente. Paulo Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Nalo in the 17th minute of the match. Paulo Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Betinho Palmeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Paulo Bastian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Fantasmagoria AC's zone, Betinho Palmeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Esdras succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. In the 33rd match minute, Fantasmagoria AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Merexildo to maneuver through the defense. Basajaun Homar succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. After 54 minutes of play, Racing Club's Honorato Goito made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Bastian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Betinho Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Betinho Palmeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-5. Fantasmagoria AC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Betinho Palmeira scored to the left of an out of position Paulo Bastian, making the score, 4-6. Betinho Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Bastian having to interfere. In the 97th minute Honorato Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Racing Club played a much better game than Fantasmagoria AC and deserved their victory. The Fantasmagoria AC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
