The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorival Tavares during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dorival Tavares hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Filomeno Olo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Stephen in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Jaime Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 方崇朗 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Domingo Licerio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emiliano Bonifaco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jaime Lope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sentimiento Marplatense's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Lope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Bonifaco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Lope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Napostá's Emiliano Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Marko in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Sentimiento Marplatense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Lope to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute of the match Generoso Petri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Olo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When 方崇朗 in the 47th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Filomeno Olo kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Lope was the one to do the kick off. When Dorival Tavares was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Napostá's Dorival Tavares got a free kick in the 58th minute. Emiliano Bonifaco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Lope in the 62nd minute. Sentimiento Marplatense's Domingo Licerio got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingo Licerio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Sentimiento Marplatense's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 70th minute, 石松 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Napostá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Pastor Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Uriel Joanes fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Napostá's protests and gave Uriel Joanes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Uriel Joanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingo Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Bonifaco having to interfere. When Uriel Joanes came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Napostá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Joanes couldn't finish the play. Filomeno Olo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 石松 in the 90th minute of play. Uriel Joanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Olo having to interfere. If Jaime Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Olo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 石松, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Sentimiento Marplatense's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
