The referee ignored Tolosa Futbol Club's protests and gave Fabian Mogel a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 minutes, Afonsinho Nóbrega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballester F.C. and the Tolosa Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ballester F.C.! In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Ballester F.C.. Dionisio Innocenzio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonas Elivareo. 1-1. Lucas Gomesano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Filip Lövkvist made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Dionisio Innocenzio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballester F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Lucas Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Jonas Elivareo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Iigo in the 40th minute of play. Jonas Elivareo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Iigo went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The Ballester F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Ballester F.C.'s Severo Marcones looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 55 played minutes Ballester F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Marko. Benito Celipe's late challenge caught a Tolosa Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Celipe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tolosa Futbol Club booed when Ballester F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Celipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Everardo Weterio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filip Lövkvist skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Artizar in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Elivareo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Iigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ballester F.C.'s Severo Marcones got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Marcones in the 72nd minute of play forced Tolosa Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jonas Elivareo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute of the game, Afonsinho Nóbrega landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Paolo Colon fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tolosa Futbol Club's protests and gave Paolo Colon a yellow card for diving instead. Ballester F.C. made a substitution. Isaias Sagrario replaced Afonsinho Nóbrega. In the 80th match minute, Tolosa Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Colon to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes Severo Marcones rounded Tolosa Futbol Club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. Mariano Iigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Tolosa Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Marcones came free, but Jonas Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes, Cristobal Elizardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tolosa Futbol Club and the Ballester F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. 95 minutes into the match, Amancio Artizar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonas Elivareo, 1-6. Ballester F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
