With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Izotz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Dawid Šnajder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogelio Izotz was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the game, Dawid Šnajder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bernardino Breogan made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Ramiro Dayam sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Lizbeth made a kick off. Rosendo Medardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Izotz having to interfere. The supporters of Torino booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Torino eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
