Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iker Ralondo kicked off to start the match. Moctezuma's Candido Gelmiro got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee gave Chiquito AFC a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elias Celipe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Moctezuma's Felix Pelayo. 0-1. In the 17th minute, Paulino Sabino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Pelayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Andres Javiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iker Ralondo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Chiquito AFC's Salvador Ibon got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulino Sabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Iker Ralondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moctezuma's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Ralondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres Javiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Chiquito AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Domingos Emmanuel hit a great ball. When Ladislao Peyo fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moctezuma's protests and gave Ladislao Peyo a yellow card for diving instead. 40 minutes into the game, one of Moctezuma:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 47th minute Paulino Sabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulino Sabino to make the kick off.
