Fulgencio Sidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Benvido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the game, Alfredo Matai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fulgencio Sidro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10thth minute of the game Alfredo Matai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patagones's Fulgencio Sidro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Alfredo Matai came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Kapelsqui FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Matai couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Patagones's zone, Alfredo Matai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Sidro came out of the goal and Alfredo Matai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Matai took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Sidro. Fulgencio Sidro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Teodoro Benvido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Fulgencio Sidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Sidro having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Alfredo Matai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Teodoro Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Sidro having to interfere. Teodoro Benvido got in the 40th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fulgencio Sidro handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 42 minutes, Haroldo Domeka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kapelsqui FC and the Patagones players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kapelsqui FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Haroldo Domeka hit a great ball. If Emilio Sugoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pastor Rudolfo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Teodoro Benvido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kapelsqui FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Benvido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulgencio Sidro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Kapelsqui FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Patagones.
