German Rocendo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Calle Sjöström 20 minutes into the match. If Lázaro Bertran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, German Rocendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acuña FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EGIPTO the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Rocendo in the 71st minute of play forced EGIPTO's goalkeeper Calle Sjöström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
