But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Firme couldn't finish the play. After having played for 18 minutes, Albino Anaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Francesco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Anaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amenábar's Feliciano Urtats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Amenábar from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Amenábar's zone, Arnulfo Firme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Urtats came out of the goal and Arnulfo Firme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Amenábar's goalkeeper Feliciano Urtats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Firme. If Arnulfo Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of San Francesco booed when Amenábar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Luken didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnulfo Firme kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Feliciano Urtats. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. Arnulfo Firme struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Feliciano Urtats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Francesco. Constantino Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Urtats having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornelio Milio during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Amenábar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Milio to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Firme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Amato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Firme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliciano Urtats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, San Francesco's Albino Anaya made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliciano Urtats was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the game, San Francesco's Arnulfo Firme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliciano Urtats made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Feliciano Urtats didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnulfo Firme went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Albino Anaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Feliciano Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnulfo Firme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Urtats having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Arnulfo Firme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amenábar's Feliciano Urtats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cornelio Milio kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Abel Galindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the San Francesco players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
