But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Belarmo couldn't finish the play. Daniel Emesto kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Wilfredo Demesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Emesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Santillán booed when NIUPI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Memphis Depay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Pietrini in the 20th minute of play forced Santillán's goalkeeper Aurelio Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Armin Arler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurelio Vidal. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Generoso Sengrat kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Armin Arler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Aurelio Vidal made a huge save. Santillán's Aurelio Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Pietrini in the 37th minute of play. Mai Lou hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Armin Arler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Aurelio Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Generoso Sengrat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santillán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NIUPI FC the free kick. After 45 played minutes Santillán got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Sengrat. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 53 minutes, Aurelio Valiente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santillán and the NIUPI FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Santillán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Valiente to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the game, Memphis Depay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilfredo Demesio. Memphis Depay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Armin Arler scored 3-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Vidal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Daniel Emesto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Wilfredo Demesio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Emesto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Wilfredo Demesio made a huge save. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind NIUPI FC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Demesio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Santillán's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Arler came free, but Aurelio Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Alvaro Pietrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Celedonio Norino fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NIUPI FC's protests and gave Celedonio Norino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Santillán booed when NIUPI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Norino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Memphis Depay hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. NIUPI FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
